Melody - Well, it's my name; I prefer not to be anonymous, since I personally view anonymity as a kind of shame, so I find it difficult to create user names that don't include at least a portion of my name. Also the Internet, is an open forum, I feel no compunction in letting people know my name, it's not that much of a big deal.

Kitty - At first I really didn't think much of it, kitty is a popular nick and it suited with "Melody", so I used it. Thinking about it I remember how everybody would say I was cat like, since I enjoy human contact so long as it's on my own terms ;), also since junior school and discovering that Bastet (THE Cat Goddess) was related to Artemis (my personal Matron) I couldn't help but feel an affinity to her. Also, those who know me and my cat, Wish, would say we've affected each other greatly.
