I think I'm confusing my parents.

We all went to see the new Bond film (OMG it rocked! A new Bond for the Post-Modern Age, it doesn't get better than that!) and I was going Gah! over Daniel Craig.
I kept getting the feeling they couldn't understand my celebrity crush when I'm currently dating [Southern!Girl].
Amazing what meaning one gives in different circumstances, eh?

There is a serious lack in Bi visibility over all, and I've gotten myself into helping putting together a zine about bisexuality.
We shall see what becomes of that.
Here, Queer, Ra-Ra-Ra!

Here's a Rainbow and it is black.

Loved Daniel Craig's Bond, and M but i had SUCH a problem with the way the female characters were represented in that film, oy.

Indeed there is a lot of bi invisibility - and femme invisibility. I don't identify as either (i am a feminine queer woman) but would love to contribute to the zine if you're taking international and queer viewpoints. Though it's fine if you're not, just thought i'd offer.

Your rainbow is intensely shaded red, violet, and orange.

What is says about you: You are a passionate person. You appreciate beauty and craftsmanship. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it. Others are amazed at how you don't give up.

This does seem much more you.
I've done the quiz twice now and it came out black twice, so I went with it.

Thanks for the offer! I think it's going to a local zine, but once I start writing my thing I'd love input :)

I took it twice and got this both times. I don't think it fits.

I think some of it fits.

I agree about the natural leader thing, that seems a bit off, but the rest reads pretty true to me.

As for my results, I don't think people are really scared of me as much I enjoy imagining they do.

This is a lot more fitting, though I had to screw around with it a lot to get something that fit my perception of myself, and was still answered truthfully.

And I'm definitely not afraid of you. :p

I definitely don't see you being all that fear-inspiring, but your appreciation of mystery does explain (one component) of a lot of the crushes you get on fictional characters (Batman, Bond, Batman, etc.). ;)

Well, seeing my friends' impression of me is "grrrr" I may have been fearsome in the past.

I do not crush on dysfunctional gadget using me!

You forgot Iron Man.

I didn't forget him, just wasn't sure that he reached the levels of mysteriousness of the others :).

Also "I do not crush on dysfunctional gadget using me!" has me confused...

Whoops! Forgot a word there.

Meant: "I do not crush on dysfunctional gadget using men!"

Hey, Ianto suggests old-fashioned methods when the rest of the team wants to use gadgets (i.e. "I looked him up in the phone book"), and he's the most functional (non-undead) member of the team, so not *all* the your fictional male crushes are dysfunctional gadget users :D.

With his eyes even!

Oh, Ianto! Notably he is also the youngest... which is interesting. All the other gadgeteers are in their late thirties to early forties.

'tis interesting. More immediately, entertaining, however, are your userpic choices for this thread :P.

Err, ignore that extra comma after "immediately", please.

Ooooh, a bi zine! I like!

And yes, Daniel Craig = the hottness. But what the hell was with the useless female characters, huh? The chick that was supposed to be a secret service agent could hardly do a damn thing for herself! Not cool.

M rocked, Kamil rocked, Fields was a bureaucrat and someone for James to screw in order for him to have sex at least once. One of the weakest points of the film, no doubt, but they wanted to tribute "Goldfinger" and conceivable this was the only way they could do it.

I'm still waiting for a Bond Boy!

Straight parents aren't the only ones who get easily confused. I remember one evening at dinner with friends in Seattle a few years ago. There was no one not queer at the table, though apparently not everyone saw it that way.

We were all talking about hitting on crushes, getting hit on by people or not getting hit on, as the case may be, and I complained that the hot girls never ever hit on me. One of my friends, someone who'd known me quite a while actually, turned and said, "Well, yeah, but it's obvious you don't like girls." To which I kinda did a blinky blink. (Huh? How is that obvious?) She then went on to point out that everyone's gaydar said that I wasn't a dyke and therefor no girl would hit on me.

ahem. ok...

I always feel (and fear) that I go unnoticed by people's gaydars (mine is pretty good as far as these things go, it's quite obviously hit and miss).

But dude, your friend wasn't very nice.

V and Justice

V: Ah, I was forgetting that we are not properly introduced. I do not have a name. You can call me V. Madam Justice...this is V. V... this is Madam Justice. hello, Madam Justice.

Justice: Good evening, V.

V: There. Now we know each other. Actually, I've been a fan of yours for quite some time. Oh, I know what you're thinking...

Justice: The poor boy has a crush on me...an adolescent fatuation.

V: I beg your pardon, Madam. It isn't like that at all. I've long admired you...albeit only from a distance. I used to stare at you from the streets below when I was a child. I'd say to my father, "Who is that lady?" And he'd say "That's Madam Justice." And I'd say "Isn't she pretty."

V: Please don't think it was merely physical. I know you're not that sort of girl. No, I loved you as a person. As an ideal.

Justice: What? V! For shame! You have betrayed me for some harlot, some vain and pouting hussy with painted lips and a knowing smile!

V: I, Madam? I beg to differ! It was your infidelity that drove me to her arms!

V: Ah-ha! That surprised you, didn't it? You thought I didn't know about your little fling. But I do. I know everything! Frankly, I wasn't surprised when I found out. You always did have an eye for a man in uniform.

Justice: Uniform? Why I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about. It was always you, V. You were the only one...

V: Liar! Slut! Whore! Deny that you let him have his way with you, him with his armbands and jackboots!

V: Well? Cat got your tongue? I though as much.

V: Very well. So you stand revealed at last. you are no longer my justice. You are his justice now. You have bedded another.

Justice: Sob! Choke! Wh-who is she, V? What is her name?

V: Her name is Anarchy. And she has taught me more as a mistress than you ever did! She has taught me that justice is meaningless without freedom. She is honest. She makes no promises and breaks none. Unlike you, Jezebel. I used to wonder why you could never look me in the eye. Now I know. So good bye, dear lady. I would be saddened by our parting even now, save that you are no longer the woman I once loved.

*KABOOM!*
