Happiness in colour

eumeliaWhile Buffy Season 7 was not the best season, it did give us a little bit of closure, since ya know, it was the end of the show and all that.
As I did not read any of the novels or comic books of Buffy or Angel as I felt it distorted the continuity of the show and well, fanfiction was much more satisfying than the novels (not to mention that some of the fic writers were better than the actual novel writers... a sad turn of events in that respect I must say).
But, now that Buffy and Angel are no longer on the beloved alter of modern society, I feel I am ready to venture to that avenue I have avoided for about half a decade and will be willing to read Buffy and Angel comic books.
Especially the ones that I will most likely be pre-ordering for March 2007!
How awesome is that turn of events!

Date: 2006-09-19 08:59 am (UTC)I know, I've read a few comics but mostly resisted reading stuff for the same reasons as you. But I am quite excited for the new comics to come out. It also means Joss' mind is back in the Buffyverse and that can't hurt can it? Maybe he'll get inspired to pursue a spin off - personally I'm hoping for the Faith one *takes a moment*
Anyhow, do you have any good fic recs? (especially Buffy/Faith) I have found so little recently that is well written.
