Weird Conversations in a Coffee shop
Jan. 7th, 2006 02:54 amHow Sartre and Beauvoir, non?
I'll stop being facetious and snobby and state, that meeting Asaf H., Kali and Tut for coffee at 23:30 and remaining in said coffee shop 'till 02:30 leads to very bizarre conversations; it would appear that though Kali and Tut began with disagreeing with each other they both made the same point about how decision making actually affects our life; Tut claimed we have no control over our lives, that the decisions we make are mere illusions to the so-called control we have in our lives. Kali states that it is only through the decisions that we make do we control who we are... though numerous convolutions on the subject, both Kali and Tut (with mine and Asaf's help) that the point was life was inevitable and who you are based on the decisions you (so-called) make, govern who you are.
Why did they disagree in the first place?
We then walked back to Tut's; I'm not used to being the tall one in a relationship, I'm still trying to get used to the fact that my arm goes over her shoulder and not around the waist, because she's shorter than me, but it's nice to hold her close like that and feel her heat against my body... yes she's sexy :). As we walked along she said, and I quote, "You're breathy" not breath-y, but breathe-y, and that just made me laugh... and laugh and then I did my ultra sonic laugh in which dogs in Tel-Aviv are probably barking about. Then we got to her place and to Asaf's car (my ride home) and when we kissed goodnight, our teeth clashed and the both of us were laughing our asses off, for reasons you just had to be there for.
That was my evening, I hope yours was just as enjoyable.
