1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
Kurt (Nightrawler) is probably my favourite X-Men and Mutant in Marvel since when in my tweens and watched the X-Men cartoon.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Well, in X-2 he's integral to the plot. I don't follow comic continuity enough in Marvel in order to know how integral he is at the moment. But he's played pivotal roles in various plots and time-lines.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Kurt's strength and faith grip me. The irony of his powers and appearance while at the same time being devout in his religion (a Priest he became), I find that extraordinary. Also he is so tolerant and accepting of everyone. Despite the fact that he is feared because of his appearance he has faith in humanity, both normals and mutants.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Comic fandom I love a lot. X-Men specific really depends, I can go months without being involved in it, until something catches my eye and I'm pulled back in.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Kurt is one of those characters that I experiment with. I'll try out different characters with him, though usually I'll read him with Logan or Rogue, mainly platonic, 'cause he's a Priest and I don't want him to break his vows, but if I'm reading movieverse fic, then pretty much anything goes.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
Nope :)
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
First I'd be all (in my head)"Whoa! You're a blue mutant!" Then I'd introduce myself and the mutants' rights group I volunteer.
I see myself crushing on him for a while before deciding seducing a Priest is just not worth it and ask about his time in a circus and ask him to teach me acrobatics.
And watch Errol Flynn movies with him.

I'd tell people about him as I see him. I like him and would like other to like him as well, but then you know, not everyone likes the same thing, no use forcing it.

I love Aeryn, mainly because of her competence and capacity for change and compassion. She's really ballsy and self-reliant and she managed to shake off a lifetime of military indoctrination and emotional detachment and become a complete person and find happiness and choose her own destiny.

She is... um... how you say... a key figure?

Of course I do! She suffers loss, she finds happiness, she evolves, she cries, she laughs, and despite being an alien she's one of the most human characters I've ever encountered on a sci-fi programme.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
I like the show, I never got into the fandom at the time.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
I'm very traditional when it comes to "Farscape" I'm a John/Aeryn shipper all the way, and while I may deviate into femslash on occasion, they're my OTP in "Farscape".

Nope, she did that on her own.

Mmmm, only when I think about this fandom, but not really, she's not in my top ten if I were to do one now.

I think so. I'm not really involved in this fandom, so I can't be sure.

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
I really like Harley, because she has a Ph.D, knows how to do back flips, somersaults, is generally athletic, but also clumsy and goofy with a beautiful smile and the potential to move beyond being the Joker's Sidekick.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
On occasion, she's a sidekicks, but she has her key moments.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
She makes me laugh and I admire her intellect and ability to make fun of herself.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
I love DC Comics, specifically Batman :D

No, I don't ship her. I actually think she'd be at her best if she were an unattached woman who went around finding companionship when she felt like with other people... who aren't chaotic bat-obsessed maniacs.

I'd rather she was a little bit more independent and not so obsessed with the Joker.

I'm pretty sure she'd be a great shopping buddy and I'd love to go to clubs with her. She's got a great sense of humour.

I actually don't have much of an opinion on Serafina, I mean she's powerful and intelligent, but I don't find her the most interesting character. Though I'd like it if she told me what my Deamon was :)

Not really. She's a bit cold and distant for me.

I just read the books and watch the movies. Not that interested in what other people think about it, to tell you the truth :)
