Oct. 24th, 2006 11:45 amWorking a 12 hour day is hard.
How Daddy does it everyday for the past thirty odd years is beyond me.
I personally will be getting overtime and that's nice. Though I wish I'd been responsible enough not to have had to stay 'till my last train back home and manage to finish the project in the nick of time.
On the plus side, one of the guys here got a new laptop and handed me down the speakers from his old desktop, so now I am blessed with lovely Sinead from my MP3 player and will now bring a few of my more mellow CD's to work (some Joni Mitchell, Aimee Mann, Tori, Sarah, Sinead and Sarah...) I'm now thinking over all my albums and what would be nice and also tolerable to the other people here. Not sure about the Dresden Dolls; Linkin Park, Stained, Rammstein, My Ruin, Kittie, Rob Zombie and Static-X are definitely out.
I have the more alternative stuff like Rasputina, Smile Empty Soul and the Buffy album... hmmm... it's amazing how speakers really improve your quality of life.
