I am absolutely appalled that this is actually going on.

I go back to one of principals of belief: "You don't like it, don't look at it!".

I mean for fuck's sake, it's well beyond chan and slash and incest or any other sexual "depravity" people in fandom write as is their right since these are fictional characters!

They are going after people who actually survived these crimes in Real Life, simply because they choose to write about and share in order to heal.

That. That I don't even know what I can say about that.

a user called vichan opened a community called fandom_counts which is simply a body count of fan accounts on LJ, so we can get a good measure of possible influence we as a community can have if, say, we threatened to simply migrate en-masse to a competitor(GJ comes to mind) and delete our accounts.The count is growing by leaps and bounds(an hour and a half ago it was ~850, right now it's above 2500)
