Such loveliness
Jan. 3rd, 2007 11:15 pmMy friends, I am writing this from my spanking new computer, my new laptop paid for by the Israeli Governmant with the money they owed due to my faithful service during that failure we call the Second War on Lebanon.
Her name is Frida and she is a Lenovo 3000 N100.
I am looking forward to working on this beautiful machine, which is light, has all sorts of gadgets which I won't go into now.
Right now I'm working with Windows, but since I'm use Firefox and OpenOffice, I'm thinking of taking the plunge and moving to Linux, which Robbie told me he could teach me to use.
To all you Linux users, what can you tell me (a total illiterate when it comes to software) about it, what do you like about it, what makes it better/worse than any other software, etc.
Thanks you for your thoughts, I'm sure Frida will appreciate it as well :)
