Work and Friends

There are ups and downs to working in a DVD rental store.
An up is that I've got "Frida" in the background which is one of the best movies made in the past decade!
A down is that I'm working at the moment.
I like my weekends and this weekend has been quite nice... except for the working part.

Last night nurint had a small birthday party at the Herzeliya Pituach "Max Brenner", oh the lovely chocolate, so excellent.
As is common in a mixed crowed of people, subject matter jumped to many an inappropriate place, so amusing.
I love my many friends, it's constantly amazing how "little loner Mel" has so many friends and that I really, really enjoy spending time with them and going to their birthday parties, actually having quality time with people who share interests, who think I'm important and that I think them important to me in return.

Amazing.

No, not so much anymore.
People invest a lot more on DVD players and download programs instead of taping them.

Heh. Cool. I haven't been in an actual video store in ages now, well, DVD store now. I wonder if anybody deals in VHS anymore.

Good riddance to it though. VHS was a horrible format.
