5 Question Meme

If you'd like me to ask you questions in return, just leave a comment saying so... you know the drill.
1. Assuming real world probability of death or dismemberment by sociopathic criminals, would you accept the mantle of Robin?
No. I would never be able to handle the stress that it would create in my life. I don't think I'd ever be able to keep a secret of that magnitude. I don't think I'd be able to handle the nightly violence I'd need to commit in order to have effective results against the crazies Batman and Robin fight.
Also, I don't find Bruce's methods to be all that ethical, the fact that he doesn't kill, doesn't make him any more moral than the crazies he fights. Batman has created just as much damage to Gotham.
Only difference is Bruce can actually reimburse the city :)
2. If you were able to learn the Ultimate Truth on one mystery, whether it be historical, scientific, or philosophical, what would it be?
I would want to know how creation started and how it will end.
Did it really start with a Bang... will it end in a Whimper?
How old is the universe really? So old the zeros mesh together and create a gigantic number most people have a hard time processing and thus believe it's not even ten thousand years old.
Are we expanding or are we shrinking and how far does it go and where does it end.
That's the Truth I'd like to know if I could - because ultimately, the truth's here on Earth are subjective... creation is just too large to be subjective.
3. If you could witness any one historical event, including those from pop culture, what would it be?
Wow, so many to choose from.
This one really is a toughy.
But at this point in my life I think the one I'd feel most at home would have been the falling of the Berlin wall. I was four when it happened and had no idea that that sort of thing existed.
I think it's probably one of the most significant incidences in modern history and I was alive during it.
If it were possible, I would happily go participate in tearing it down.
4. What are you feelings on casual sex amongst friends, i.e., friend with benefits? What about one night stands?
Friends with benefits can be great so long as the two friends aren't each other's exes... believe me that is not a good combo.
So they can work as long as communications are open and one is aware that this is just another thing friends are doing and that there is no romance going on and that the people are free to go out with other people and have sex with other people.
Friends with benefits can be great, but it shouldn't be a hindrance either.
One night stands can be fun. To me they seem a bit impersonal and I have a hard time going to bed with someone I don't know very well, but that's just me... I have it on good authority that they are much, much fun :)
5. If you were given the opportunity to be a colonist, trader, or some representative of the human race on an alien world, would you do so? Assume that it is a permanent change and that no one from your life on Earth will follow you.
Yes, I would. It would to big and good a chance to give up and I think my family and friends would agree with me even though it would be the last time I'd ever see them in person. Also, if there's the tech to travel to far away places is that advanced, communications should be a piece of cake! Look at our communication abilities today! It's quite awesome.

And now to the game... let me see, let me see.
1) Everyone has personal heroines/heros (both real and fictional). If you could chose one to spend an entire day with, who would it be and what would you do?
2) If the Jedi council came to you and told you had the potential to be a Padawan (and eventually a Jedi)... would you do it?
3) If you could be any other animal other than human, what would you be and why? What's the significance of that animal?
4) What are your favourite songs at the moment and why?
5) What is the one book that makes you feel as though the author wrote especially for and you can read it over and over again without skipping or ever getting bored?

All the same, I'd still go. Too good a chance to not do so, I think.
