I am very liberal and an advocate for GLBTQ issues plus women's issues. Childbirth is a way of keeping women under control. Fear is an excellent tool of conservatives and they use it well. Since you are in the United Stated pick up a copy of Howard Zinn's book "A People's History of the United States." He updates it on a regular basis and I think it would give you a good honest history of United States. With information from this book you will have intellectual facts to just blow most conservative arguments away. Practically every American who has graduated from High School has had courses in American History. Most of the textbooks used in those courses are littered with lies to perpetuate the American Myth. Now don't get me wrong, I love this country but we need to be honest to have a secure future. BTW thanks for making me a friend on your live journal.
