1) It can be anyone in any medium. The person can be specific to a role or character or just the person.

I confess, I see everyone as their icons :p You use this one most frequently, so I imagine in real life you've always got a huge smile, a rainbow flag, and a Guy Fawkes mask. And a very roundish head.

Ahah! Actually I'm not seeing any photos of you with your head shaved, so I'm imagining you with hair that is either longer or shorter, or possibly the same length, as one or more of your photos posted in here.

I, uh, look like the me in my icon. Only I shaved the goatee off, and I'm not usually wearing the hat, and my head-hair's much shorter due to shaving that, too. And I have different glasses now. But other than that, IDENTICAL.
