What an "honour"
Joss Whedon on the "honour" killing of Dua Khalil
For the story on the "honour" killing of Dua Kalil go here. There's a video of the attack, I haven't watched it.
I don't think I want to.
In addition, the genocide in Darfur must be stopped.
וכמו כן, צריך לעצור את רצח העם בדרפור.

"What is wrong with women?
I mean wrong. Physically. Spiritually. Something unnatural, something destructive, something that needs to be corrected."
I don't know. Maybe there's something wrong with the people that torture, stone, and rape as opposed to the people they do it to but what do I know?
I think his idea of womb-envy is petty at best and corners men in the same way Freud conceptually shanked women with penis-envy.

Just MHO.
I'm with you on the womb-envy thing, don't agree with Freud or a Freudian backlash.
I think the problem with Joss' feminism is that he always seems a little smug about it, as though it's a novelty or something like that. I'm fan and I'm glad that I admire someone whose ideals are admirable, but sometimes his privilege does get in the way... then again so does mine, so *shrug*
