I'm actually sorry for bringing you this link. I was considering whether I should ruin your good mood or not, but it was just too strong.
On the other hand, the optimistic point: this is just one person, and the university seems to be sympathetic towards the hurt party and definitely not towards him. Overt workplace homophobia seems to have become sort of a man-bites-dog news item, which is good.

No it's good that you brought it. Knowing the other "side" of the coin is always good.

Besides, I've been working on channeling my anger towards more constructive paths, rather than just rant on my LJ :)

On the one hand I think that overall it's a good thing.OTOH I sometimes miss reading a well written rant.
