So I've been on a creative binge and have been re-reading all my poems, those who've known me long enough, know I have lots.

I've also started moving them to the computer and printing them, so that I can have them in a safe place in a computer file and real life file and I've noticed a trend I never noticed before. It seems many of the speakers in my poems were male, or had a male voice in some respects and I tried to think why I would masculine my works like that. I think it has to do with the fact that many of them are dark and sexual... I wrote them at a time where I wasn't very in touch with myself (high school, but then again who is in touch with themselves in that arena), and updating them now with my much more mature and independent voice they are becoming more feminised.

I'm becoming more attuned to myself... isn't that exciting?
