As I've mentioned, I've sinned with regards to not talking about femmslash - but I think it behaves differently within fandom and has different concerns than slash.
I feel very strongly about slash fandom, and no it's not inherently political, but my position is a critical one and even the things I love aren't safe from a political critique of what they do and how they behave in the larger context.
