I should really rewatch CoE. I only saw it the once, and I think I needed...some space afterward. It's an incredibly intense piece of storytelling. I think I'd compartmentalized Torchwood enough, though, that it doesn't bleed through to how I feel about The Doctor--mostly because I haven't seen most of Nine's run, including all but Jack's intro episodes (the ones with gasmasks). So the Torchwood universe is separate enough that I don't crave the Doctor's interference within it--even to save us from ourselves.

And I'm all stompy, because this is the first season of DW I've been following in anything close to real time (I started watching while s4 was running, and basically watched all the seasons in whatever order they came on the TV, and the UK=>US lag wasn't very long for the four Tennant movies), and now I have to wait TWO WHOLE WEEKS for the new season. *kicks things*
