I did read your post about the female soldiers' testimony and found it extremely interesting. I don't think my thoughts were coherent enough to make a comment, but I could have acknowledged that I read it.
I find it difficult to enter into any discussion of Israeli history or politics because so many people have extremely strong opinions and beliefs and I'm kind of conflict-averse. Also the media reporting about Israel and Palestine when I was growing up in America was/is slanted quite differently than it is in Britain, for many reasons. So when I watch BBC or Channel 4 reports, I do think about how the events discussed would be reported in America. It's an interesting exercise in comparison.
I really appreciate the information and perspective you're putting out there, I feel like I'm learning a lot. I guess I find it terribly saddening that the people that embrace this form of fascism seem to have completely disregarded or twisted 20th century history. And that extremism is present in every religion.
