My Granny, who taught me when I was nine (I've known "how to" knit for years; cast on, knit, purl and bind off, other than that nada!) lived in South Africa, a long way away from Israel, and as you read my mother hast forgotten all her craftiness :)

So I'm dying to relearn and make this hobby a proper one.
