yes! Stitch 'n bitch by debbie stoller. great book. but having live help tends to be better......
This book is like the bible of knitting. It has everything in it. There's a sequel to it called Stitch 'n Bitch Nation which has a ton of wonderful patterns in it. It's cool to get, but only in addition to the original, as there aren't as many tips to get yourself out of a hole. Also, if you do a google search for "knitting help" there are a lot of blogs where you can ask questions. I've never tried them, though. I always end up going to my grandmother or friend.
I feel so honored ;)
