Agreed on dehumanization, but what I'm trying to show you is that the package doesn't much matter- anybody who's half proficient in the use of language can dehumanize people just fine without going into slurs at any point.

Yes, there are specific words that will tend to be more offensive due to history, but reclamation should try to erase that history- thus the usage shouldn't be examined on the identity of the user but on the context it happened.To do otherwise will be to preserve the original meaning in the general population, rather then shift it.
