Huh. You mentioning "Small Gods" made me google book covers of both because it sounded really familiar and that was the book I tried reading and I somehow conflated it with "Good Omens". I guess because I love Neil so much and assumed that was the book I tried to read.

I'll pick up a copy the next time I'm at the library or used book store.
