You have it pretty good. You definitely have a loving mom and family. As a parent of a 28 year old son who lives far away, (He lives in CT and we live in TN) I can understand her feelings. The feelings you are experiencing are not uncommon for someone your age. I have a cousin who came home one day and found her daughter in bed with another woman. My cousin was blown away and contacted me for advice. My advice was to love her daughter without reservations. Apparently, your mom has the same philosophy.
